Mr. Joseph Asoman is the father of Buddhism in Ghana. Mr. Asomani was the SGI general director who trained the Buddhist in Ghana. When the SGI tried to replace him the member resisted and Daisaku Ikeda ex-communicated the members in Ghana. Those Africans joined Nichiren Shoshu and as soon as they got organized they made Mr. Asomani an advisor just as the SGI had planned . It does not matter how great you are or how many people you bring to Nichiren Shoshu there is no honest respectable place for a Black man. Listen to Mr. Asomani's words in 1998. Just as soon as the Japanese or Priest got established they retire a Black man. We must challenge the Japanese with the Gosho and force them to honor the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin.
If Alan Billups were to invite those in the audience to an enviroment of a Buddhist Temple most of the African/Americans could not adjust to the current culture at most temples. It was reported to us by an African/American member of the Los Angeles, California Temple that many African/American men are not comfortable with the Temple enviroment. While they many enjoy their Buddhist Practice they do not like the "Cutually Insensitive Conditions at the Temple."
