When we write that Christ was a Buddhist we are speaking about the original African Christ. In history most historians or White writers have purposefully written Black or African people out of both the Christian religion and the Buddhist religion. Fortunately there were White Historians who were unprejudiced like Godfrey Higgins, Gerald Massey and others who gave honest accounts of history. Godfrey Higgins writes that almost all of the original Gods were Black. When you research the original History of Christ, you will learn that the story of Christ is the story of the Buddha Shakymuni of India and also Krishna of India. The religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam all were Influence by Indian Religions. For the Sake of this lecture Godfrey Higgins names Abraham the father of the Religions a "Brahmin." Abraham means "A Brahmin." It was Abraham who brought the Brahmin Religion to Africa.
On page 230 in the Anacalypsis Historian "Godfrey Higgins writes: "For the origin of the cross we must go to the Buddhists and to the Lama of Tibet." In Tibet today this cross is called a "Dorje." We hear in America about the Dali Lama. In Tibetian they use a cross.
The reader will recollect what was said in the first chapter respecting the two Ethiopias—the opinion of Sir W. Jones and Mr. Maurice, that a nation of blacks formerly ruled over all Asia, and the other circumstances where the black colour occurred in various ways : … May not this nation have been a nation of black Buddhists ? May not the peaceable religion of the curly-headed Buddha have pervaded and kept in peace for many generations, of which we have no history, the whole of Asia ? … Why should not a nation have ruled all Asia in peace, as the Chinese have done their empire, for several thousand years ? If these were Jain Buddhists, their propensity to propagate their doctrine, so different from the practice of the Brahmins, easily shews why it was carried to the extremest West, and why it was found in Britain. But if they were the first people, the Celts, for instance, as I believe they were, and their religion the first, it would of course go with them.
On Page 256 Higgins writes: "The real, true, conscientious Buddhist, must have been an exact prototype of Jesus Christ, as I shall prove, both in doctrine and practice."
Most Black people in America are Christians and they would never think to practice the Buddhist Religion or relate Buddhism and Christianity. If Black people get a clear understanding of the "True History" of Buddhism they will understand that the teachings of Jesus Christ in its original form before it was changed by Whites or the Romans, the Christian Teachings were the Buddha's teaching. Please note that Whites removed Black people from the history of Christianity and turned the religion into that started by White people. Also the Brahmins in India wrote the African people out of Buddhism. Jesus Christ originally was a Buddhist. Please note that the word Christ and Buddha means the same thing.
How important is this to know that the Logo or the main Christian symbol the cross came from Buddhism. Japanese teachers do not know share this Buddhist history. The African cross or Ankh in Ancient Egypt came from the Buddhist teachings. The cross in Christianity did not become official until King Constantine of Rome endorsed the Cross hundreds of years after the death of Christ. While the cross is the foundation of the Christian Religion, the cross in Buddhism symbolized the Buddhist concept of Enlightenment. The African Christians knew about the cross.
