Nichiren  Buddhism Teaches the Concept that Inanimate objects are a "Life Form" and humans have a Karmic relationship to Inanimate objects or Life Forms.
In order to get an understanding of the phenomena of "Good Hair'' which is a "Life Entity" that manifest itself into the Karmic World of Black people in America we use the profound teachings of Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism to teach about this phenomena. In this thesis we use two inanimate objects that manifested  a relationship or Karma to Black people, moreso to Black Women in America that helped to shape the phenomena of "Good Hair" in America.  The three inanimate objects we will discuss is the "Hot Comb,"  the Hair for the first time hair treatment or cosmestology for Black women..
The Goshos ( Buddhist Bible) The Entity of the mystic law reads:

At the beginning of the 1900s, Annie Malone had pioneered and revolutionized hair care methods for all African Americans. She created a variety of hair care treatments, including the first patented hot comb, which preceded the one popularized by an early employee of hers, Madam C.J. Walker . As early as 1902, she and her assistants were going door-to-door selling her own unique brand of hair care products, "Poro", a West African name, which means physical and spiritual growth. By 1917, as United States entered World War I , Annie Malone had become so successful that she founded and opened Poro College in St. Louis , the first educational institution in America dedicated to the study and teaching of black cosmetology . The school employed nearly two hundred people and ran a strict curriculum centered around instruction on the correct manner of walking, talking and style of dress designed to maintain a solid public persona. She is said to have been the first women millionare in America.

It is said that Madame C.J. Walker said she got the idea to begin a cosmetics business in 1905 when she began to lose her hair, however she was once an employee of Annie Malone.  Walker said that in a dream, she received a formula for a unique hair treatment for Negro women. At that time, African American women who wanted to de-kink their hair had to place it on a flat surface and press it with an iron. Walker invented a hair softener and a special straightening comb. She mixed her ointments and soaps using washtubs and kitchen utensils, adapted existing tools and techniques, and sold her products door-to-door.

The elements of the "Walker System" were a shampoo, a pomade "hair-grower," vigorous brushing, and the application of heated hair combs. The method transformed stubborn, lusterless hair into shining smoothness. The Madame C. J. Walker Manufacturing Company employed mostly women who carried the treatments to homes. Known as "Walker Agents," they became familiar figures throughout the United States and the Caribbean, making house calls with black satchels containing preparations and tools to dress hair.

In the 1990's in America Black Cosmestology was born and this inanimate object the "Hot comb was used to transform Black Women's hair.

Less than 50 years after slavery in America the manifestation of the Black hair business emerged in America and the concept of the "Good Hair"Schools made their appearance.
Madame C. J. Walker
Born just two years after slavery in America Madame C.J. Walker along with Annie Malone these women started the Black hair care industry in America. Buddism speaks of  the profound Buddhist teachings of Nichiren Daishonin teach that, 1. Appearance 2. Nature and 3. Entities are the substance of all phenomena. Also the power, influence, inherent cause, relation, latent effect and manifest effect are the functions of all phenomena and all things function in the universe this way from beginning to end.

The true aspect invariably manifests in all phenomena, and all phenomena invariably manifest in the ten factors. The ten factors invariably manifest in the Ten Worlds, and the Ten Worlds invariably manifest in life and its environment.”  The ten factors and the ten worlds manifested its true nature and this school is an example of the  Buddhist concept of the ten factors and ten worlds.

The profound Buddhist teachings of Nichiren Daishonin teach that, 1. Appearance 2. Nature and 3. Entities are the substance of all phenomena. Also the power, influence, inherent cause, relation, latent effect and manifest effect are the functions of all phenomena and all things function in the universe this way.

Phenomena takes on either of the Ten worlds; for example Annie Malone and Madame C. J. Walker in relationship to "Good Hair" took on the world of learning and self-realizationa and they used their knowlege to help create the "Black hair Care Industry in America." These women also were able to manifest the world of Bodhistataa or be "Christ like" to help other people.
