Please click on the Above Picture from the Tina Turner Movie and learn how to Chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.
Please note that Tina Turner did not practice Buddhism with a group.  Tina learned the basics of "Faith, Practice and Study."  She made Buddhism a part of her life instead of life instead of her life becoming a part of Buddhism. You do not need to be hung up on some charismatic leader or a Priest.  In the Gosho "The Gife of Rice" Nichiren Daishonin writes :However, as for the matter of becoming a Buddha, ordinary people keep in mind the words “earnest resolve” and thereby become Buddhas.   The Key to Buddhahood is "Earnest Resolve."
Anthony "Amp" Elmore shares Chanting in a scene from his 1988 Movie "The Contemporary Gladiator."  In this scene Elmore was having to fight a World Title Karate/Kickboxing bout. Elmore is chanting for the success of the bout.  The scene show that all kinds of thought past through your head when chanting.  Moreover when you chant the positive side or your faith and confidence "Kicks In."  Faith, Confidence and Wisdom is the inherent power of our "inner strength."  Chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo activates the inherent power of our inner stength.
