Dear Rev. Iwaki:

How are you today? I try to make it a point to put things in writing to clear up any future misunderstanding. We have written you three times and not one time have you even acknowledged that you received my emails. Mrs. Jeanette Dorsey had expressed some concerns about me and our website and I wrote her an email suggesting that on July 26, 2008 I had our Memphis Congressman Steve Cohen at our home it would be a great time to have our Congressman Honor here husband for his service to our community as a United States Veteran, Karate instructor and Buddhist leader.

Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism is now a part of our American culture and we Buddhist should take every opportunity to integrate Buddhism into our culture. On this past Friday July 25, 2008 I called Gerald Hopskins and I told Gerald that our Congressman would be at our home along with a few hundred people and I invited he his wife and other members to come to our home to have dinner and as Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist we should not isolate ourselves from society and we as Buddhist should present ourselves in a positive and dignified manner and take such opportunities to promote Buddhism.

The week before I called Gerald and I invited he and his wife to view our Buddhist website and let us discuss ways to improve conditions in Memphis, Tennessee. On yesterday Thursday July 31, 2008 after speaking with you it was when I learned that you were scheduled to come to Memphis and Gerald failed to inform me that you were coming to Memphis although we have talked several times and it was me who called Gerald.

Rev. Iwaki I write this letter to inform you of these things and it is up to you to correct these circumstances. I must remind you that I wrote you a letter and in my letter I complained about what is happening in Memphis, Tennessee and I mentioned in my letter that in our modern technological society we have easy means of communication and you as a Priest could send everyone an email by using the touch of a finger. On July 28, 2008 you sent me a letter regarding Gokuyo that I sent and it could have been mention that you were scheduled to come to Memphis.

Also I write you letters and you are not courteous enough to acknowledge that you received my letters. I believe that if I write the Nichiren Shoshu overseas Bureau, the overseas Bureau would acknowledge me sending them a letter. Rev. Iwaki when I spoke with you over the telephone I told you that I would send you a follow-up letter to my conversation so there is no mistake regarding my conversation. When I wrote the letter you failed to reply to my letter because I specifically asked you to reply and for you to say what is thought is not acceptable when I in my letter asked you to reply but you as a Priest did not think enough of me to reply. Perhaps I can write you a letter and copy my letter to Rev. Takano chief of NST in America and I can copy my letters to the Nichiren Shoshu overseas Bureau and get a reply.

Rev. Iwaki I have no interest in getting into getting into any conflict with you and I have no interest in posturing myself to be a favorite with you as a Priest. In the case of Mr. Gerald Hopskins these things are very important to he and his wife and I have no interest in being any leader and I do not wish to take away from his plans that he will have from you during your visit to Memphis.

During Rev. Murata’s visits to Memphis I use to say in my mind; "is it the duty of Memphis members to serve our Priest or is it the duty of our Priest to serve Memphis members. In Memphis over the years I see the Members work hard to arrange many dinners but the Priest does not work hard to serve or visit members. Rev. Murata in all of his tenure as our Priest never visited or ever called to check on my circumstances in Memphis. The Priest never come around members and is natural and a part of our human family.

Julius Dorsey later developed his group and he came up with a practice that did not include Gongyo and he mixed the Masonic practice with the Buddhism. Gerald developed a practice that was targeted for the Priest and the simplest Buddhist teachings he could not explain and a condition developed whereas he no longer had a mind and everything had to be explained by a Priest.

Rev. Iwaki you did not carefully read my letter and the reason that I suggested that my membership be officially changed to the Senmyo-Zan Hokkeji Temple in Accra, Ghana is because I do not want to become a part of such things as I see in Memphis, Tennessee whereas a Priest and a lay member have a sort of love affair whereas the Priest just have drinks and food and Buddhism is not taught or a Priest is too lazy to visit its members.

Rev. Iwaki if I can give Gokuyo and communicate with our temple and the Priest not communicate with me I feel sorry for the other members who have little faith because no effort will be made to help those members. I am not interested in having a dinner and I do not want to disturb the party that you will have in Memphis, Tennessee.

If I did not call you on yesterday July 31, 2008 I would have never known that you were coming to Memphis, Tennessee. This lets me know that Gerald had no interest in informing me and I believe that your office would not have communicated with us when we write letters and you do not say a word. Everyone has schedules and plans and it is respectful that we all be informed in a timely manner about your visit. If am embarrassed to tell my wife who is new in faith about how even our Priest act. In America when people write a letter it is respectful to let the person know you got the letter.

The High Priest Visit to Ghana

Rev. Iwaki as an African/American I and members in Ghana accept Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism as a "Key to African Revolution." You have no idea about the heart of Revolution or the Heart of a Revolutionary. Instead of us using guns and war to change our circumstances we accept Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism as a revolutionary religion. In 1998 I discussed this issue with Rev. Dojo Yorshita in Ghana and it is my personal intent to write our High Priest and ask him to come to Ghana to perform a special ceremony for the over 100 million Africans who died in the middle passage coming to America for slavery. Africans and African/Americans have a Karma that we must correct. Rev. Yorshita understood and he explained to Mr. that 67 th high Priest Nikken Shonin Granted the Ghana temple for Kosen-Rufu of Africa and we African/Americans should visit the temple in Ghana.

Rev. Iwaki before you were born I believe that your father Gojakaied me in about 1975 and if he did not Gojakai me I certainly remember him coming to Memphis and after 30 years you come. I will ask the High Priest to allow a promotion via Nichiren Shoshu Temples in America to inform African/Americans about a special Nichiren Shoshu prayer ceremony in Ghana for our ancestors who died in the middle passage and I will ask the High Priest to come to Ghana along with other members from America. My mission in Ghana is larger that your thinking and whether I am an official Ghana member my Karma has me connected deeper in Ghana than in Chicago. I created the Website for Ghana and informed the World about the Ghana Temple because I have a mission in Ghana greater than your thoughts about the matter.

However our Karma has it you are my Priest and it is Protocol that I inform you of this idea that has been in my heart since the Ghana Temple opening in 1998. Gerald does not understand and I have been encouraging he and his wife to travel to the Temple in Ghana to understand this deep meaning and how we can motivate people to practice and take faith in this great Buddhism.

Rev. Iwaki I was the official Videographer at the Temple opening in Ghana and my video when to our high Priest Nikken Shonin. During my visit to Ghana I developed a strong Karmic tie with my brothers and sisters in Ghana. I have since created a website call www.buddhisminafrica.com and you can hear the comments of members in Ghana and see this historical event.

Also I created a website of members at Tozan and you will see many members from you temple in Chicago like Robert, Sue, Will Rosecran, James and other members at Tozan and you will see many Priest who you know at Tozan. This new website is called www.mybuddhistdiary.com I also have a cultural African and African American website called www.proudblackbuddhist.org and I have written my lectures. One I wrote called "Barack Obama and Buddhism" and many other lectures on Buddhism. Nichiren Daishonin advises us to teach to the best of our ability if only one sentence or phase. I have written lectures and I am one of the most strongest fighters against Daisaku Ikeda and I have a 15 year history of fighting the SGI and my letters are on the World Wide Web. If you click on this link you will see a chronological battle that I had with the SGI http://www.mybuddhistdiary.com/Chronological__Elmore-SGI_Chall/index.html

I would love to hear your comments and suggestions as to how we can make our website better. Also if we are in error in our writings we would like you to assist us so that we can correct anything that is wrong on our site.

Rev. Iwaki you are a young Priest and we are young in spirit. I pray that we can work together as Priest and laity to promote Kosen Rufu.

Thank you,

Anthony Elmore

You can see by this letter that I had written this Priest 3 times and he failed to acknowledge my letters.  What was more dispicable is the fact that this Priest had arranged to come to Memphis and he was so low down that he was not going to tell me about the meeting.  It is amazing this Priest writes me a letter on July 28, 2008 taking my donations, but he still was not going to tell me about the meeting. I asked this Priest to address concerns about Buddhism.  For years Nichiren Shoshu Priest come to Memphis and have only dinners and praise and nothing is done to help members or others to understand Buddhism. I do not have a Temple and I do not have a Priest.  These Priest and Japanese are low dirty down and I am going to the Internet with my concerns. Perhaps our high Priest will anwers our concerns because in America this system of Priest and Laity is corrupt. Look how low down my friend Gerald is to us. I have no interest in being a leader or taking his position.
