This photograph is from a vendor display on west 125th Street in Harlem in 1989. The spirit of Malcolm is in the heart of the vendor. Notice the sign that reads "Malcolm X is right know yourself". Malcolm's x aim was to teach Black people to empower themselves via understanding history. Notice the sign that reads "Your History Will Free Your Mind". The True Buddha Nichiren Daishonin writes in the Gosho "Exert yourself in the two ways of practice and study, Practice and Study arise from faith, without practice and study there can be no Buddhism". African/Americans should study their history.  When you study history you will learn that Buddhist History is "Black History.
