Proud Black Buddhist World Association First Agenda is to Unite The African & African American Family via the Safari Initiative to take place in South Africa
. A Buddha is not some God or a person who is not human please understand the Gosho “Three Kings of Treasure” reads: "The heart of the Buddha’s lifetime of teachings is the Lotus Sutra , and the heart of the practice of the Lotus Sutra is found in the “Never Disparaging” chapter . What does Bodhisattva Never Disparaging ’s profound respect for people signify? The purpose of the appearance in this world of Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, lies in his behavior as a human being." The way to understand Buddhism is to understand the behavior of a human being.
We at the "Proud Black Buddhist World Association" believe in a Buddhist practice that includes our African and African American Culture and heritage. We are Black, Proud and Buddhist. We do not apologize for being Black, Proud and Buddhist. We hold Shakyamuni Buddha who was a Naga Prince as the Founder of Buddhism. We hold Nelson Mandela as a modern day Bodhisattva. We at the Proud Black Buddhist World Association gives the higest respect and honor to our African and African American Ancestors. We hold Nelson Mandela not only as our Ancestor we hold him as a Bodhisttva and Buddha. We look to our ancestor's spirit for guidance and direction in our Buddhist practice. We hold that the Buddhism that comes to Africans and African Americans from Japan and Asian Countries comes in the form of Asia Ethnocentrism. We teach our children to find pride, dignity and encouragement in the Buddhist faith via adopting African and African American history. Our 1st Goal as members of the Proud Black Buddhist World Association is to bring the African and African family together. We use our Buddhist faith as a tool for liberation. Our main goal for 2014 as members of the Proud Black Buddhist World Association is to travel to South Africa and pay homage to our Ancestor Nelson Mandela. Not only will we pay Homage to Nelson Mandela we will bring the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to South Africa. We are asking everyone to join us in 2014 when we travel to South Africa to recite the "Lotus Sutra" in honor of the Bodhisttava and Buddha Nelson Mandela. If Whites decide to join us, no problem. Just understand that we are not racist we are proud of who we are. We do not hold Japanese as our Buddhist masters. We reject Shakyamuni as an Aryan as taught by SGI Daisaku Ikeda. We reject Buddhist Priest teaching this idea. The Aryans believed in the cast system and not equality. Whites and Japanese should not try to change history.
