In regards to Black people there is Black history and culture on the Gohonzon.  The four heavenly kings on the Gohonzon are recognized in the Pali Cannon and the Gods were translated into Chinese names long before they became Sanskritnized and changed from Black to White Gods by later Japanese Sects.  Let us use “Common Sense” to dispel some Japanese nonsense. The name “India” means “Black.” When we say “India Ink” this means “Black Ink.” Imagine having a land of “Black People” and no “Black History?” Whites took the African Country of Egypt and made “Egypt” White and not in “Africa.

Let us bring some historical facts in regards to “Black India.” The world’s oldest continuous dynasty of Kings and Queens is the “Ethiopian Dynasty.” The Ethiopian Dynasty have a written record called the “Kebra Nagast” or the “Glory of the kings. Historically we know about the Great Black Ethiopian Queen of Sheba. According to Ethiopian traditions the first empire was founded by Za Besi Angabo, of the Arwe line which ruled Ethiopia for 350 years. This dynasty began in 1370 B.C. The Ethiopians ruled India and this puts evidence of Black Ethiopia over 600 years before the Buddha. The ancient language of the Ethiopians is called “Geeze” and Prakrit is the same language. The people in India were Ethiopian and the Language was Ethiopian.  The tribe of Judah in Ethiopia associated with Jesus were a tribe of Buddhist.  Buddhism was practiced in ancient Ethiopia. There are findings of Buddhist coins in a cave in Ethiopia.

The 1st writings of Buddhist were the “Pali Cannon” written in 29 B.C. The 1st record or archeological evidence of Sanskrit writing did not happen until the Gupta era around 320. A.D. Or about 350 years after the 1st Buddhist writings were recorded. Theravada Buddhism is the 1st Buddhist writings to come to China and Japan.

Nichiren Shonin based the Gohonzon on the writings of Chinese versions of the Lotus Sutra translated by Kumarajiva. Kumarajiva translation from the Ethiopian Praskrit language to Chinese was based on the “Pali Cannon” which is literally, archeologically, culturally inclusive of Black history and linguistics,
