We at the Proud Black Buddhist World Association draw the line of "Cultural, Linguistic, Historical" inclusion via our presenting the "Mandala of the Lotus Sutra" correctly. The Japanese Sanskrit interpretation racially and culturally removes all Black history from Nichiren Buddhist teachings. When we present the "Mandala of the Lotus Sutra" be clear that the "Mandala of the Lotus Sutra" is racially, linguistically, and culturally inclusive. The “Mandala of the Lotus Sutra” is the Mandala of the “Rainbow Tribe.” Some refer to our Mandala as “The Prayer Gohonzon.” Specifically we refer to our “object of worship as the “Mandala of the Lotus Sutra” as an object of worship via a cultural inclusion. |
