Nichiren Shoshu is the over 750 year Nichiren Buddhist Sect located at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Taisekiji Japan. Nichiren Shoshu is the name of the denomination which follows the orthodox teachings of true Buddhism as taught by Nichiren Daishonin, , who made his advent in Japan in 1222. The Head Temple, Taisekiji, is at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Japan. Nichiren Shoshu has temples and centers worldwide and actively propagates its version of the teachings of Nichiren Daishonin.
