Myname is Anthony "Amp" Elmore I live in Memphis, Tennessee. In regards to African and African/American relationships I am the most dedicated person in the world who is working towards building African and African/American relationships.
A planned strategy was implemented in both America and Africa to server the connection of Africans and African/Americans. In August of 1990 a semi-autographical film about my life that I wrote, produced, directed and starred titled "The Contemporary Gladiator" premired in Nairobi, Kenya.
Kenya and Kenyans welcolmed me with a "Heroe's Welcome." Unknown and untold at the time we were making "History." Our movie premies in Kenya was a historic case of "African Cultural Diplomacy." We dealt directly with the Kenya Film Corporation, a state-owned body, making the release an official act of international trade. This remains a documented "first" in the history of African and African American relations—the moment a private Black producer and an African State became business partners.
The Kenya Government not only premeired our film the Government honored us with a "Kenyan Safari." It was via the Kenyan Safari Anthony "Amp" Elmore encountered what man describe as a "Spiritual Encounter" in Africa from what is believed as ancestors.
Anthony "Amp" Elmore encountered the spirit of Tom Mboya. The Kenya leader who was one of Kenya's founding fathers that lead to the birth of America's 1st Black President Barack Obama Jr. On July 5, 1969 Tom Mboya was assassinated in Kenya whereas his history has been erased and obscured in Kenya.
To Mboya arrived America on his 26th birthday August 15, 1956. While Tom Mboya is not being honored in Kenya Anthony "Amp" Elmore will honor Tom Mboya at the "African Cultural Embassay" in Orange Mound in Memphis.
