This statue on the right of Fudo myo 'o is in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. We can be clear that the hair of this deity is not Japanese hair. If you were to research ancient images of Fudo myo' o you would find him to be a Black deity. I advise all those who are looking to get a better understanding of the "African Presence in Early Asia" to get the book written with this title by Runoko Rashidi and Ivan Van Sertima. It was from this African history book that I learned of the Black God Fudo myo' o. There is a great Black history untold by Japanese and Whites and perhaps in the future scholars will one day emerge to correct all of the wrongs that has been omitted.
